Objectives of the Jean Monnet Module AcorDes

Promoting an understanding of European values and disseminating European best practices in reducing the shadow economy and fostering zero tolerance for corruption among the population, which are essential foundations for Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.

Structureof the Jean Monnet Module AcorDes​

  1. Development of two academic courses: “EU Anti-Corruption and Shadow Economy Counteraction Policy” and “European Principles for Building a Corruption-Free Society.”

  2. Organisation of a series of round-table discussions entitled “Interaction between Society and Public Authorities in Combating Corruption and the Shadow Economy.”

  3. Implementation of activities for civil society activists entitled “The Role of Civil Society in Preventing and Combating Corruption: EU Experience.”

  4. Delivery of a series of professional development courses entitled “Transparency of Public Authorities: EU Lessons for Ukraine.”

  5. Organisation of the international conference “Combating Corruption and Countering the Shadow Economy in Ukraine: Challenges and Achievements in Implementing EU Best Practices,” the forum “The Future of Financial Services Cybersecurity,” and the hackathon “Financial Cybersecurity Solutions.”

  6. Publication of research findings in specialised Ukrainian and international academic journals and in a monograph, as well as the publication of educational materials on the project’s thematic areas.
