ЕRASMUS+ (КА1, КА2, КА3)

Erasmus+ is an EU educational program aimed at intensifying international cooperation and increasing the mobility of students, teachers, and researchers of European universities and higher education institutions of associated countries on all continents.

Participation in projects

Larysa Hrytsenko, Oleksandra Tverezovska – an ERASMUS+ KA1 project was awarded in cooperation with Balthazar University of Applied Sciences in Zaprešić, Zaprešić, Croatia (academic year 2025–2026):

  • Bachelor’s degree student of the Finance study programme Anastasiia Vyshnevetska and Master’s degree student of the Finance study programme Alina Babak were nominated to participate in a study mobility programme at Balthazar University of Applied Sciences in Zaprešić, Croatia, from 2 March 2026 to 18 July 2026;
  • Iryna Kozhushko, Master’s degree student of the Finance study programme, participated in research internship mobility at Balthazar University of Applied Sciences in Zaprešić, Croatia, from 1 October 2025 to 25 January 2026;
  • Bachelor’s degree students of the Banking study programme Yelizaveta Senyk, Alona Kolesnyk, Tetiana Marynych, Kateryna Melnyk, Oleksandr Kravets participated in study mobility at Balthazar University of Applied Sciences in Zaprešić, Croatia, from 10 March 2025 to 27 July 2025;
  • Larysa Hrytsenko, Oleksandra Tverezovska, Nataliia Pihul, Olha Liuta participated in teaching mobility in Zaprešić, Croatia, from 25 May 2025 to 31 May 2025.

Larysa Hrytsenko, Oleksandra Tverezovska, Nataliia Pihul, Olha Liuta – an ERASMUS+ KA1 project was awarded in cooperation with Vilnius University, Vilnius, Lithuania (academic year 2025–2026):

  • Bachelor’s degree student of the Finance study programme Alina Kuzmenko was nominated to participate in a study mobility programme at Vilnius University, Lithuania, from 2 February 2026 to 30 June 2026.

Dmytro Tsyhaniuk – Project Coordinator of the ERASMUS+ KA2 project “FreeAc: Promoting Academic Freedom in Ukraine” (Project No. 2023-1-AT01-KA220-HED-000164930), implemented from 1 December 2023 to 30 November 2026.

Inna Shkolnyk (Thematic Leader), Olha Liuta – participants in the ERASMUS+ KA2 project “IMAP4U – Integrated Model of Strategic Excellence for Higher Education Institutions” (Project No. 2024-1-TR01-KA220-HED-000251854), implemented from 31 December 2024 to 30 December 2026.

Larysa Hrytsenko, Nataliia Pihul – participation in professional development mobility within the Erasmus+ programme at the University of Foggia, Foggia, Italy, from 15 June 2025 to 21 June 2025.

Inna Tiutiunyk – participation in an academic mobility programme for teaching purposes at Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín, Trenčín, Slovakia, from 21 April 2025 to 1 May 2025.

Bachelor’s degree student of the Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities Specialty Luiza Uniiat participated in research internship mobility at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Bratislava, Slovakia, from 1 March 2025 to 31 May 2025.

Tetiana Vasylieva – participation in an academic mobility programme for professional development (training activities) at TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany, within the Erasmus+ programme, from 29 November 2024 to 9 December 2024.

Hanna Saltykova – participation in a training programme within the Erasmus+ university-wide project of Sumy State University “Digital University – an Open Ukrainian Initiative (DigiUni)” at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, from 21 July 2024 to 25 July 2024.

Hanna Saltykova – participation in an academic mobility programme for professional development at the University of Alicante, Spain, from 1 June 2024 to 8 June 2024, within the university-wide project of Sumy State University “Digital University – an Open Ukrainian Initiative (DigiUni)”.

Hanna Saltykova – participation in an academic mobility programme for professional development at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland, from 26 May 2024 to 31 May 2024, within the university-wide project of Sumy State University “Digital University – an Open Ukrainian Initiative (DigiUni)”.

PhD student Anzhelika Kulik participated in a study mobility programme at the University of Foggia, Italy, within the Erasmus+ programme, from 15 February 2024 to 15 July 2024.

Second-year student of the Public and Local Finance study programme Alina Koshka participated in the international training “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Being an Entrepreneur” within the Erasmus+ programme in Katowice, Poland, from 13 to 20 June 2023.

Student of the Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activities study programme Yuliia Shvydka started an internship as an SMM Coordinator at the International Office of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The internship took place during the winter semester of the 2023/2024 academic year in Bratislava, Slovakia.

From 4 to 12 November, third-year student of the Finance, Banking and Insurance Specialty Iryna Kozhushko participated in the youth training course “Youth Work Done by You(th)”, held in Monte Barro, Italy.

Inna Tiutiunyk, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor, delivered teaching activities within the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme (KA107) at the University of Almería, Almería, Spain, from 5 May 2023 to 12 May 2023.

Dmytro Tsyhaniuk, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, participated in an international mobility programme within the ERASMUS+ Key Action 107 project “Higher Education Student and Staff Mobility between Programme and Partner Countries” at Bath Spa University, Bath, United Kingdom, from 6 May 2023 to 21 May 2023.

  • International project in Portugal Youth Media Sharks: Media Literacy Upskilling (November 19-30, 2022), which is implemented by the organizations Center for Euroinitiatives and Associação My Madeira Island with the support of the “Erasmus+” program of the European Union – a student participant of the OP “State and local finance” Liliia Derkach.
  • Iryna Kozhushko, a student of the speciality “Banking”, became a participant in the international seminar “Peace Multipliers”, which took place on November 7-17, 2022 in Poronin (Poland).
  • Students of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship of the educational program “Banking”: Iryna KOZHUSHKO Angelina KONSTANTYNOVA, Hanna GREBENYUK and Artem SERGEYEV and of the educational program “Electronic Business, Finance and Communications” Daria SVIRIDOVA took part in the international summer school of Jean Monet on the topic ” EU grants for personal and professional growth”.
  • A student majoring in “Finance, Banking and Insurance” (educational program “Banking”), Anastasia Tsibulska studied at the University of Almeria (Spain) during the fall semester of 2022.
  • A student majoring in “Finance, Banking and Insurance” (educational program “Banking”), Kolomiets Polina studied at the University of Almeria (Spain) during the fall semester of 2022.
  • Participation of postgraduate student of the specialty “Finance, banking and insurance” Oleksandra Tverezovska in the youth international training “Act on The Spot” (II stage), held in Morfasso (Italy) as part of Erasmus+ (23.03.2022-28.03.2022).
  • Internship of PhD Oleksandra Tverezovska majoring in “Finance, Banking and Insurance” at the University of Foggia (Italy) as part of Erasmus+ (02.01.2022-07.31.2022).
  • A student majoring in “Finance, Banking and Insurance” (educational program “Banking”), Anastasia Tsibulska studied at the University of Almeria (Spain) during the spring semester of 2022.
  • A student majoring in “Entrepreneurship, trade and stock exchange activity”, Hura Olena studied at the University of Almeria (Spain) during the spring semester of 2022.
  • A student majoring in “Finance, Banking and Insurance” (educational program “Banking”), Kolomiets Polina studied at the University of Almeria (Spain) during the spring semester of 2022.
  • Participation of graduate student of “Finance, banking and insurance” Tverezovska Oleksandra in the youth international training “Act on The Spot” (I stage), held in the city of Bitola (North Macedonia) as part of Erasmus+ (14.11.2021-21.11.2021 ).
  • On October 22-24, 2019, as part of the “Teaching Mobility” project for 2019-2020, the Department of Finance and Investments (University of Freiberg) and the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance (SumSU) hosted a visit by the Dean of the University’s Faculty of Economics Freiberg, head of the Department of Finance and Investments, Professor A. Horsch (Prof. Horsch).
  • As part of the visit, students majoring in “Banking”, “Finance”, “International Economics” attended a course of lectures and seminars on the following topics: “The rationale of banking regulation”, “Linking banking regulation and rating”, “Linking banking regulation and the regulation of credit rating companies”. On October 23, 2019, an open lecture by Professor A. Horsh “The proportionality of banking regulation” was held.   • From 01.09.19 to 12.09.19, candidate of economic sciences, senior lecturer of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance, Alina Hennadiivna Bukhtiarova took part in the international youth exchange project “Digital You(th)”, which is financed by the European Union program “Erasmus +” with the assistance of the non-governmental public organization “Youth Mix” (Armenia) and “Bildung Und Kultur EV” (Germany).
