November 29, 2021 as part of the discipline “Macrofinancial Budgeting” Associate Professor of the department of Financial Technology and Entrepreneurship Nadiia Dekhtiar implemented a practice-oriented meeting for the first-year master-students of the speciality 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance” (group FM-11).
An experienced specialist in the field of economic development of territories, public budget procedures, Ph.D. Dmytro Lukin was involved to the on-line meeting on the topic: “Access and control over public use of local community budgets”.
Mr. Dmytro told about the history of the formation of participation in the world and the peculiarities of the introduction of the public budget in Ukraine. Students got acquainted with the cycles of development and implementation of public budgets within individual regions and local communities. Examples of public involvement in the control over the formation and use of public budget funds turned out to be quite interesting. The speaker also shared his experience in the procedures of organizing the budget process at the level of territorial communities. Particular attention was paid to information provision, transparency and accessibility of the public to participate in the formation and implementation of public budget projects.
Students of the 2nd year of bachelor’s degree groups F-91a, F-91-a (teachers: Professor Victoriia Boronos, Associate Professor Liudmyla Riabushka) and students of groups BS-01a, BS-01a-1 (lecturer Olena Zhuravka) also joined to that meeting.
