“How to build an insurance business to be successful?” – the topic of the meeting of 2nd year undergraduate students majoring in 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance”, which took place on December 16, 2021. Students together with Olena Zhuravka, Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship, visited the branch of the department, which was established on the basis of the Sumy Regional Directorate of PJSC “ORANTA”.

During the conversation with students, the main provisions of consumer behavior of insurers, the peculiarities of the formation of the insurance portfolio, discussed such types of compulsory insurance as insurance against accidents and liability insurance of vehicle owners. Students learned:
– how to conclude an insurance contract and related documents;
– what list of documents must the insured provide to the insurer in the event of an insured event;
– in which cases insurance companies may refuse to pay insurance indemnity;
– what is the European Protocol and in which cases policyholders can use it.
Easy, accessible, clear and modern information from the speaker impressed the students: they participated in the discussion, asked questions.
