Student`s studying in Croatia!

On 11 March, Iryna Kozhushko, a 3rd year student of the specialty 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance”, started her studies under the Erasmus+ programme at the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić (Zaprešić, Croatia). During the spring semester, Iryna will have a unique opportunity not only to gain valuable knowledge, but also to get to know the youngest country in the European Union – Croatia.
The student’s first impressions of mobility:
“I first learned about the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić while participating in the Virtual Mobility programme from our department. After interesting lectures from the leading teachers of the Croatian university, I realized that I would like to try to study here, and I got this opportunity thanks to the international academic mobility programme. I chose to study such courses as Croatian Language and Culture for Foreigners, Design and Visual Communications, and Organization and Functioning of European Institutions, and after several classes I can say that my expectations were fully met: along with interesting and relevant information in the classroom, we have the opportunity to engage in free dialogue and discuss various aspects. In addition, international mobility is a great chance for self-development, personal growth, making new friends from different countries and travelling, which is definitely worth taking advantage of. I am very grateful that Sumy State University provides such opportunities for its students!”
