Liudmyla Zakharkina, associate professor, department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship, took part in the “Military Economy” seminar at the University of Stavanger (Stavanger, Norway) as part of the KÅKÅ|nomics festival on October 26-29, 2022.
The seminar raised the issue of russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the sanctions imposed by various countries on russia in response. The issues of long-term consequences of the introduction of sanctions and the undermining of the russian economy were also discussed.
KÅKÅ|nomics is a national festival and a Nordic meeting place for economists and professionals from a wide range of disciplines, as well as a place to entertain curious and socially engaged ordinary people. These are approximately 70 events (lectures, debates, seminars, live podcasts, concerts, stand-ups, performances and hybrids of several communication formats) over 4 days.
