The lecture discussed the second goal of sustainable development, which is related to the problem of hunger in society. The lecturer was Doctor of Science, Professor Agnieszka Orkusz from the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business in Poland.
During the discussion, the issues of achieving food security and improving nutrition were raised. The Professor shared her research results regarding the inclusion of insects in the human diet, because insects are not only safe for consumption, they can also provide vital nutrients and are one of the ways to solve the problem of hunger in the future.
The lecture aroused keen interest among students. The global problem of hunger has not left anyone indifferent. As a result, the importance of finding effective ways to solve the problem was determined, which is an important step in understanding and solving global challenges.
