Meeting–discussion on the topic: «Acquisition of the necessary competencies by applicants for higher education under the educational program» State and local finance of the Department of Financial Technology and Entrepreneurship took place on September 17, 2021

Teachers of the department and invited employers have identified the basic knowledge, skills and abilities that should be possessed by the future specialist in the chosen field of profiling.

Among the invited guests–employers were:

Lilya Oleksandrivna Pedchenko – head of the department of budgetary expenditures and operations with financial resources of the Main Directorate of the State Administration of the State Budgetary Administration in the Sumy region;

Berezin Mykola Yakovych – deputy head of the Sumy regional budget and social policy;

Chumak Sergiy Yurievich  – head of the Micro–, small and medium business sector, Inclusive branch № 10018/0153 JSC «Oschadbank».

The meeting began with a speech by the head of the department, Doctor of Economics, Professor L.L. Gritsenko, who spoke about the importance of the educational program «State and local finance» in retail specialty 072 «Finance, banking rights and insurance» and the need. In her speech she outlined the directions of future cooperation with employers

The guarantor of the educational program «State and Local Finances» Doctor of Economics, Professor I.I. Rekunenko presented to the employers and students the profile of the educational program, the list of program competencies and learning outcomes, the educational components included in the program and their logical sequence.

In the second half of the meeting M.Y. Berezin paid attention to the importance of comprehensive study of planning and budgeting in the disciplines that will enable future professionals to efficiently manage financial and economic processes at the level of the state and territorial communities.

In his speech S.Y. Chumak mentioned the need for a high level of knowledge of financial accounting at the level of business entities, which are taxpayers and recipients of credit resources of financial institutions.

The meeting was held in a friendly and productive atmosphere, which was noted by all the participants.
