November 1, 2021 in the framework of cooperation of the Education and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management Sumy State University and Deposit Guarantee Fund, before the World Savings Day, department of Financial technologies and enterprise organized a practical orrentine lecture class attended by students 1-5 course specialty 072 «Finance, banking and insurance» and 1-3 course specialty 076 «Business, trade and stock trading» as well as students of the third level of higher education «Doctor of Philosophy» specialty 072 «Finance, banking and insurance.
The requested speakers were:
– Kremen Viktoria Mikhailivna – chief economist of the department of Investigation of school facts of the department for School forfeiture.
– Lebid Hanna Arkadyevna – lead economist, Financial enlightenment department, Information policy directorate
During the first half of the meeting Victoriya Mykhailivna Kremen delivered a report «Financial skills», where she outlined areas of her activity and emphasized the need for the development of hard and soft skills, The main focus was on the need to develop hard and soft skills, which must be developed throughout life as a prerequisite for being the most demanded professional in the domestic labour market.
In the second half of the lecture, Hanna Arkadyevna Lebid presented the features of the Deposit Guarantee Fund and the latest legislative initiatives of this institution to higher education students as part of her presentation «The deposit guarantee system».
The students and lecturers of Education and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management Sumy State University showed great interest in the themes of the lesson, as evidenced by the high number of the seminar participants and activity in the discussion.
