Throughout September 2024, the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship at Sumy State University organized a series of master classes for 7th-11th grade students of the Sumy Regional Academic Lyceum named after Dmytro Yevdokymov. The events were held as part of the celebration of Hryvnia Day and aimed to improve financial literacy among young people.
On September 25, a master class titled “Protect Your Money from Fraud” was held for 7th-9th grade pupils, where they learned how to audit banknotes and how to protect themselves from online fraud. The event was conducted by department lecturers Liudmyla Ryabushka and Liudmyla Zakharkina, along with students Iryna Kozhushko and Liudmyla Sokol. We extend our gratitude to the teachers Hanna Sagura, Vadym Lebid, Iryna Tanykova, and Mariia Tonka for their collaboration.
On September 27, 10th-11th grade pupils of the Sumy Regional Academic Lyceum participated in a master class titled “Protect Your Money from Fraud.” They acquired skills in money auditing, learned about fraud schemes and key techniques for online banking security, and explored the main professions available through the study of specialty 072 Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Market. The event was led by lecturers Liudmyla Ryabushka and Liudmyla Zakharkina, along with students Iryna Kozhushko and Liudmyla Sokol, for 40 high school pupils. We thank teachers Maryna Moskalenko and Larysa Nesterenko for their support and cooperation.
