On April 22, 2022, students of the specialty 072 “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market” of the bachelor’s and master’s degrees were invited to an excursion and a practice-oriented lecture at the office of TAS life Insurance Company in Sumy. The speaker was Irina Grigorets, director of TAS life agencies in Kyiv and Sumy, business development partner of TAS life in Ukraine. Iryna Mykhailivna presented a report on “Life Insurance and Pension Savings” and shared her own experience in the insurance business. The lecture discussed the functioning of the insurance market under martial law, the main problems of life insurance companies and their ability to provide quality insurance services in the current realities. The lecturer also spoke about the life insurance programs of TAS Life Insurance Company, dwelled on practical examples, proved the need for insurance, and discussed career opportunities in the insurance business. The report aroused interest and a lively discussion among the students, which undoubtedly demonstrates the relevance of the issues discussed and the importance of holding such events.
