During October – November 2021. was trained under the program of the First Wave of the Business Academy, which was organized and conducted on the basis of the GCIP Regional Accelerator for Innovation, Technology and Start-up in Sumy region within the UNIDO GCIP Project “Global Innovative Clean Technology Program for Small and Medium Enterprises in Ukraine”.
Professor of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship, Doctor of Economics Kobushko Ihor took part as a trainer and read a number of trainings on the following topics according to the ILO methodology: financing, three-year profit and loss statement, customer segmentation, first market segment, related market segments, TAM / SAM / SOM models.
Nine start-up teams successfully completed three training sessions where they received the necessary knowledge and support from experts and professional mentors, prepared presentation materials that provide potential consumers and investors with an understanding of new products and services.
As a result, the winner was the start-up project “Autonomous robot”, the second place and the nomination “Prospects for tourism development” was awarded to the team “OK TOWN” The training and final performance of the teams took place via video conferencing on the Microsoft Teams platform.
UNIDO GCIP regional accelerator provides an opportunity in a short period of time: to obtain the necessary knowledge and support from experts and professional mentors; helps to build business processes more effectively; understand how best to enter the market and how to present your product to a potential investor; create a prototype or exhibition sample. Andriy Piven is the coordinator of the start-up center of SSU “New Generation”, the coordinator of UNIDO GCIP regional accelerator of Sumy region. The goal of the regional accelerator is to support startup projects aimed at introducing “clean” technologies to reduce emissions of pollutants into the environment.
