On December 18, 2024, the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship continued the defense of qualification theses by Master’s students of both full-time and part-time study programs. The defenses involved groups F.m-31 and FS.mz-31c under the educational program “Finance” in the specialty 072 “Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Market.”
All students demonstrated a high level of preparation.
The Master’s research covered pressing issues in corporate finance management, financial governance of enterprises and territorial communities, transparency in corporate financial management, and digital banking.
The Examination Committee, which included the Deputy General Director for Information Technology of Askania Group LLC, PhD in Economics Oleksiy Ryabenkov, the guarantor of the educational program “Finance,” PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Liudmyla Zakharkina, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Oleksiy Zakharkin, and PhD in Economics, Associate Professor Nadiia Dekhtiar, noted that the works exhibited a systematic approach, mastery of analytical methods, and significant practical relevance for the financial sector, local government, state authorities, small, medium, and large businesses, as well as the academic community and international institutions.
Special recognition is deserved for the following theses: Alina Medvid’s work on “Digital Banking in the Financial Services Market”, Anatolii Moloshnyi’s work on “Financial Management of Small Enterprises”, Ihor Prydukha’s work on “Fiscal Space of Territorial Communities: Features of Planning and Utilization”, Ruslana Chukhno’s work on “Transparency in Corporate Financial Management and Its Impact on Business Value in the Global Economic Environment”.
It is also noteworthy that some students (Anatolii Moloshnyi, Ihor Prydukha, Vyacheslav Rybalchenko, and Ruslana Chukhno) defended their qualification theses in English.
