During the first classes in the discipline “Entrepreneurship and digital business communications” (lecturer – Senior Lecturer, Ph.D. Anastasiya Samoilikova) we had the opportunity to get acquainted with the whole major flow of BiEM (heart) and the basics of entrepreneurial activity and trends in the digital economy. At the practical session, the students watched a motivational video in English (we are also improving these skills 😊) based on Spencer Johnson’s book “Who Moved My Cheese”, took part in a lively discussion and team work on analyzing the dynamics of the main business areas, formation of new business ideas.
By the way, the book is useful not only for future entrepreneurs, but also for everyone who strives for self-improvement, tries despite all obstacles to achieve success in life and work. It is a metaphorical story about our passions in life – business, money, a big house, finding a balance, etc. They are the Cheese we chase all our lives. From time to time, Cheese disappears from our field of vision, it is grabbed by us, or we do not have time to catch up with it. Sometimes we see opportunities in time, immediately rush after them, sometimes we resist any changes, even though we know that they will lead to the goal!
