Successful completion of the Summer School from the Poznan University of Economics and Business by students of the FTP Department!

Students of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship, specialty 072 “Finance, banking and insurance” Anastasiia Omelchenko, Lyudmyla Sokol, Iryna Kozhushko, Anastasiia Fedan, Ulyana Vinichenko and specialty 076 “Entrepreneurship, trade and stock market activity” Yuliia Shvydka participated in the Summer School “Financial Analysis and Business Intelligence Tools with Aspects of Sustainable Development”. for 7 – June 16 organized by the Poznań University of Economics and Business (Poznań, Poland).
The students successfully completed two modules: “Financial Modeling with Business Intelligence Tools” and “Sustainable Financial Analysis”, during which they gained comprehensive knowledge and skills that are very relevant in the modern economic world. The most practice-oriented part of the Summer School was dedicated to business intelligence tools, namely MS Power BI and Tableau. During the workshops, the students mastered the basic skills of using these tools to conduct multivariate research and visualize the results in a high-quality manner.
The Summer School was attended by representatives from different countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Hungary, India, Italy, and Ukraine. In addition to studying, our students had a great opportunity to become a part of the international community, get to know the unique Poznan culture and learn more about the history of the city and Poland in general.
The Summer School “Financial Analysis and Business Intelligence Tools with Aspects of Sustainable Development” was a good driver for the development of both hard and soft skills. In addition to useful experience, the students gained pleasant impressions and memories. At the end of the project, all participants received certificates of successful completion of both modules, which contain information about the basic content and its duration, the learning outcomes achieved and the corresponding ECTS equivalent.
