On 1 October, Iryna Kozhushko, a 4th year student majoring in 072 Finance, Banking and Insurance, started an internship at the International Cooperation Office of the University of Applied Sciences “Baltazar Zaprešić” (Zaprešić, Croatia). Over the next few months, the student will try her hand at developing promotional materials for international programmes and relevant content for the university’s social media, planning and organising international seminars and conferences, monitoring project implementation, researching potential international partners and funding opportunities, etc.
Iryna shares her impressions of the beginning of her mobility:
“The first days of my internship at UAS “Baltazar Zaprešić” became a radically new experience for me, requiring a completely different level of responsibility and involvement. Previously, I have participated in various international programmes as a student, and now I have the opportunity to help organise and monitor them, develop useful materials for future Erasmus students, manage social media and fill the university’s website, etc. This is a unique chance to see the work of the International Cooperation Office from a different perspective, to learn new things and to feel involved in creating something really useful and interesting. For me, as a 4th year student, such a cool practical experience is invaluable, as it helps to develop important management, communication and teamwork skills that will definitely be useful both in employment and for personal development and growth in general.”
