Thanks to the cooperation of the Center for European Initiatives and the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship of Sumy State University, student of specialty 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance” Iryna Kozhushko participated in the second stage of the international seminar “Peace Multipliers”, which took place on November 7-17 in Poronin (Poland).
The seminar was attended by 27 participants from different countries: Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Cyprus, Spain, Germany and Poland. Topics that were considered during the project: peace building, human rights, conflict resolution during mediation process, the language of non-violent communication, intercultural competence, and replenishment of one’s internal resources, etc. The main task of the seminar was for the participants to acquire the skills of writing projects within the framework of Erasmus+. Working in small groups under the guidance of experienced curators, the youth leaders of the countries had to fully think through their future project and fill out the application form regulated by Erasmus+. In addition, the participants in Krakow visited the oldest university in Poland and met with representatives of the public organizations “Olkusz pomaga Ukrainie” and “Wernyhora”. The project partners told how they have been helping Ukrainians since the beginning of the war and how they organize the delivery of humanitarian goods to Ukraine.
At the end of the seminar, each participant received a Youthpass certificate, which confirms the participants’ acquisition of competence in the fields of peace building, effective communication and writing Erasmus+ projects.
