On September 27-28, 2021, the Congress Center of Sumy State University hosted the autumn school “NATO-2030: Opportunities, Threats and Cooperation”, which together with students majoring in 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance” was attended by teachers of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship Zhuravka O. S., Ryabushka L. B., Kubah T. G.
The workshop program included speeches by speakers, panel discussion and participation of participants in role-playing game.
Speakers were:
Serhiy Dzherzh, Head of the NATO-Ukraine Public League, topic of the report “Dynamics of NATO Support in Ukraine: Trends and Challenges”;
Eugene Magda, Director of the Institute of World Politics, the topic of the report “Hybrid Challenges of the Euro-Atlantic Area and Ukraine”;
Volodymyr Dubovyk, Director of the Center for International Studies of Odessa National University, the topic of the report “The United States and the future of Euro-Atlantic security”;
Mykola Nazarov, Director of the Center for Regional Security Studies at Sumy State University, the topic of the report “NATO-2030 Agenda from the Perspective of Sustainability”.
The role-playing game “Simulation of the North Atlantic Council meeting” was conducted by Oleksandra Davymuk, Deputy Director of the Center for International Security.
As a result of passing the autumn school, the participants received certificates.
