On May 7, 2026, faculty members and students of the “Banking” educational program participated in the online seminar “Implementation of ESG in Ukraine During Wartime: Why, How, and Where to Start”.
During the seminar, participants discussed current approaches to implementing ESG principles and sustainable development concepts in Ukraine under wartime conditions and in the context of post-war recovery. Particular attention was paid to the role of ESG and sustainable development in rebuilding the economy, integrating ESG approaches into public policy, the financial sector, and business practices, as well as practical steps that businesses and society can already take today.
The speaker of the seminar was Andrii Kitura – Development Director at “Dixi Group”, Head of the Green Transition Office of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine, PhD.
Participation in the seminar provided an important opportunity for students and teachers to deepen their knowledge in the fields of ESG, sustainable finance, and contemporary transformation processes in Ukraine’s financial sector.
