On November 25th, another lecture took place as part of the international project “SEE FUTURE”. Professor Stjepan Lackovic from the University of Applied Sciences Baltazar Zapresic presented a comprehensive analysis of the concept of sustainable development to the participants of the event.
The lecturer emphasized the interconnectedness of social, economic, and environmental aspects of societal development. The following issues were examined in detail:
- Social dimension of sustainable development: quality of life, social justice, education, health.
- Economic dimension of sustainable development: economic growth, efficient resource use, innovation.
- Environmental dimension of sustainable development: biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation, rational use of natural resources.
During the lecture, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss current issues of sustainable development. The event generated great interest and marked a significant step in raising awareness about the need to transition to a more sustainable way of life.
