On 28.09.2023, students majoring in “072 Finance, Banking and Insurance”, bachelors of the programs “Banking”, “State and Local Finance” and masters of the program “Finance” took part in a NBU webinar on “Monetary reform of 1996 – a long way to revive the hryvnia”. During the webinar, students learned about preparations for the introduction of the hryvnia currency and the history of banknotes. They also reviewed the denominations of currency units, their changes from 1996 to the present, learned about the production of modern coins, and also saw coins that were made as commemorative, souvenir or anniversary coins. The webinar was dedicated to the celebration of Hryvnia Day.
