On November 26, 2024, as part of civic and patriotic education, first-year students of the educational and professional program “Finance” in the specialty 072 “Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Market” attended an event titled “My Country – My Pride.”
The purpose of the event was to cultivate a sense of pride in their country, its historical heritage, and modern achievements, as well as to deepen their understanding of the importance of national identity in the face of today’s challenges.
During the event, students:
• discussed the significance of patriotism and active citizenship in the context of Ukraine’s independence;
• explored key stages in the struggle for freedom and the distinctiveness of the state, such as the Cossack era, the Revolution of Dignity, and the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Additionally, Ukraine’s achievements on the international stage were discussed, evoking a sense of pride for their country and inspiring students to actively participate in building its future.
The event “My Country – My Pride” was not only an opportunity to enhance knowledge but also a source of inspiration for young people who understand their responsibility for the country’s future.
The event was organized by Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship, the program guarantor of the Master’s Degree EPP “Finance,” Liudmyla Zakharkina, and Associate Professor of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship, Oleksii Zakharkin.
We sincerely thank all participants for their enthusiasm and engagement!
