On February 15, 2021, 3rd and 4th year students of specialties 072 “Finance, banking and insurance” and 076 “Business, trade and stock trading activities” studied the practical training organized by the department of Economics, business administration and business administration.
Higher education students had the opportunity to be present at the lecture “Principles of Bitcoin Functioning” by the leading blockchain company Distributed Lab.
Oleksandr Kurbatov, blockchain researcher at Distributed Lab, and Olena Voloshchuk, PhD – coordinator of educational programs at Distributed Lab, acted as speakers. They introduced the students to the aspects of the company’s activities, shared their experience with blockchain technologies and the specifics of working with cryptocurrency. Particular attention was paid to the protection of data. Also, the lecturers told about current vacancies for graduates and students.
In the course of the presentations, students asked a lot of general questions, which were answered in an interesting way.
