On December 23, 2025, the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship hosted the defense of qualification theses by students of the second (Master’s) level of higher education enrolled in the “Finance” educational program within Specialty 072 “Finance, Banking, Insurance and the Stock Market.”
The Master’s students presented the results of their research focusing on financial aspects of banking operations, including liquidity management, financial performance, financial stability, as well as the assessment and mitigation of credit risks under wartime challenges. The theses were based on the analysis of relevant financial data and contained practically significant findings.
The vast majority of qualification theses were presented in English. In particular, the research projects defended in English were presented by Artem Batanin, Yevhen Berezhnyi, Danylo Salov, Artem Serheiev, and Anastasiia Tsybulska, which demonstrated a high level of foreign language proficiency and readiness for professional and academic communication in the international environment.
The defenses were conducted using distance learning technologies. Each defense was accompanied by a professional discussion during which the Master’s students provided well-argued responses to the questions of the examination committee.
The examination committee noted the appropriate theoretical and practical level of the qualification theses, the relevance of the selected topics, the validity of the conclusions, and their compliance with the profile of the specialty. Based on the defense results, the students were awarded the Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Insurance and the Stock Market, and some graduates received recommendations for further study at the doctoral (PhD) level.
We sincerely congratulate the graduates on the successful completion of their studies and wish them professional achievements and further academic success!
