Alina Kuzmenko, a student of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship studying under the “Finance” Educational Program at Sumy State University, is currently participating in an academic mobility program and studying at Vilnius University (Lithuania).
Participation in the academic mobility program has become much more than an opportunity to study abroad for Alina; it has become an important stage of personal and professional development, opening new educational and cultural perspectives.
Sharing her impressions, Alina notes:
“Within the framework of academic mobility, I had the opportunity to study at Vilnius University (Lithuania). This experience became much more than simply an exchange program; it turned into a new stage in my student life. The adaptation process at the beginning was exciting, but thanks to the support of the university and the openness of the student environment, it went smoothly and rather quickly.
The university provides comfortable learning conditions where students can conveniently prepare for classes and work on group projects. Living in a dormitory together with students from different countries has given me the opportunity to communicate in English on a daily basis, interact in an international environment, and make wonderful new friends from different parts of the world.
Besides studying, I actively travel around Lithuania and other European countries, discovering new cities, cultures, and historical places. This experience helps broaden my worldview and makes this period even more meaningful and memorable.
Overall, Vilnius has made a very positive impression on me with its atmosphere, unique combination of history and modernity, and comfortable environment for student life.
For those who are still considering participation in academic mobility programs, I can confidently say that it is truly a valuable experience that gives much more than one initially expects. I sincerely thank the Department for its support and for giving me the opportunity to become part of this program.”
The Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship wishes Alina continued success in her studies, new achievements, and inspiring international experiences.
