Finance Program Team Explores Opportunities for Academic Mobility

On October 15, 2025 the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship hosted a meeting of the working group for the Finance educational program. The discussion focused on expanding opportunities for academic mobility available to students.

The event aimed to help students understand the advantages of participating in international education programs, to share experiences from those who had already taken part in academic exchanges, and to highlight how such opportunities contribute to personal growth, academic achievement, and professional development.

Students, faculty members, and program coordinators took part in the discussion. The meeting was held in an open-dialogue format, allowing participants to ask questions, share their expectations, and receive practical advice on preparing for mobility programs.

Particularly engaging were the presentations by students who had previously studied abroad.
Among the speakers were:
Iryna Kozhushko, first-year master’s student in the Finance program;
Tetiana Marynych, third-year student in the Banking program;
Andrii Liutyi, sixth-year student of the Medical Institute.

They spoke about their experiences studying in foreign universities, adapting to new academic environments, discovering international approaches to education, and how these experiences shaped their personal and professional outlooks.

The meeting also covered the practical side of preparing for academic mobility – from compiling application documents and selecting partner universities to navigating the competitive selection process and understanding funding opportunities under EU programs such as Erasmus+.

In conclusion, participants agreed that academic mobility offers far more than new knowledge – it serves as a powerful means of integrating Ukrainian students into the broader European educational community.

The Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship extends its gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm, thoughtful contributions, and productive discussion. Faculty members encouraged students to stay open to new challenges and not be afraid to step beyond their comfort zones, as such experiences help cultivate modern, competitive, and innovative professionals.
