Expansion of international activities at the Department of FTP!

Oleksandra TVEREZOVSKA, a graduate student and lecturer at the Department of Financial Technology and Entrepreneurship, was a participant and member of the organizing team of the International Week in Vieste (Italy) on June 7-11, initiated by the University of Foggia, where Oleksandra is currently undergoing an internship.

Theme of the International Week: Rethinking University: Open Education Resources and Digital Scholarship. Scientists from various fields, as well as administrative staff of partner universities were invited to participate. A total of 160 participants from the following countries took part in the event: Poland, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Germany, Northern Macedonia, Albania, Czech Republic, Bangladesh, France, Hungary, Croatia and Cyprus.

The program of the International Week included various forms of non-formal education: discussions, round tables, networking, practical workshops and presentation materials of speakers. Among the speakers were: the Rector of the University of Foggia – Pierpaolo Limone and Rector’s Delegate for International Relations, Prof. Claudia Piccoli, who highlighted the issues of training centers and strategies for higher education at the University of Foggia and Italy in general, and Professors Stephanie Fantinelli and Francesco Sulla, who spoke about the need for interaction between students and teachers educational process, as well as noted the psychological aspects that arise during such relationships.

For Oleksandra, International Week has become a week of close cooperation and internationalization that has brought together many universities from around the world.
