Lecturers of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship, Oleksii Zakharkin and Liudmyla Zakharkina, successfully completed the international online training “Project Management for EU Urban Transformation in the Context of Climate Change and Energy Transition”, held on June 2–5, 2025 with the support of the European Union within the framework of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module PM4U (101126659-PM4U-ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH) in cooperation with the SPECTRA Centre of Excellence EU (Slovakia).
During the training, participants explored modern approaches to managing urban transformation projects in the context of climate change and energy transition. They also took part in open lectures delivered by international experts from Slovakia on smart development, strategic planning, energy transition, and communication in EU projects.
For the lecturers, this training became not only a valuable source of up-to-date knowledge on urban sustainability, EU climate policy, strategic planning, and energy modernization, but also a powerful resource for updating the content of key academic courses such as “Sustainable Development Financial Management,” “Business Valuation,” and “Enterprise Financial Strategies.”
