From 5 to 9 October 2026<\/strong>, students of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship participated in the autumn season of Economist Career Way<\/strong>, an educational and career development project organised by UGEN. The season\u2019s central theme was \u201cDon\u2019t just read the news \u2013 decode the economy\u201d: recognising connections between events, understanding business decisions, and developing a professional mindset.

Participants included students from the Finance and Banking bachelor\u2019s degree programmes and the Finance master\u2019s degree programme.

Active participants who attended all the project\u2019s online sessions received certificates:
Sofiia Sauliak<\/strong> \u2014 group \u0424-31, bachelor\u2019s degree programme in Finance;
Tetiana Marynych<\/strong> \u2014 group \u0411\u0421-31-4, bachelor\u2019s degree programme in Banking;
Rostyslav Honcharenko<\/strong> \u2014 group \u0424.\u043c-51, master\u2019s degree programme in Finance.

Throughout the week, students attended the following online sessions with representatives of companies and financial institutions:

6 October<\/strong>
\u25aa\ufe0f Forvis Mazars \u2013 \u201cWhere AI\u2019s Responsibility Ends and Human Responsibility Begins\u201d. Speaker: Anastasiia Cherniakova, Auditor at Forvis Mazars.

7 October<\/strong>
\u25aa\ufe0f EY \u2013 \u201cAssessing the Effectiveness of Business Ideas and Investment Decisions\u201d. Speaker: Ernest Chazov, Senior Consultant in the Strategy & Transactions Department at EY-Parthenon Ukraine.
\u25aa\ufe0f National Bank of Ukraine \u2013 \u201cUnderstanding the Eight Types of Waste in Lean: A Universal Skill for the Modern Economist\u201d. Speakers: Tetiana Krotevych, Head of the Process Efficiency Division within the NBU\u2019s Strategy and Development Department, and Oleksii Hahin, Project and Programme Manager in the Process Efficiency Division within the NBU\u2019s Strategy and Development Department.

\u25aa\ufe0f Deloitte Ukraine \u2013 \u201cHow Numbers Become the Foundation of Strategy: The Art of Financial Modelling\u201d. Speaker: Andrii Kulyk, Deputy Director in Deloitte Ukraine\u2019s Financial Advisory Department.
\u25aa\ufe0f ProCredit Bank \u2013 \u201cThink Twice: How to Avoid Being Misled by Information and Numbers\u201d. Speaker: Mariia Ostrianko, Specialist in the Business Client Development Division.

Participation in the project helps students deepen their practical knowledge, develop analytical and critical thinking, and gain a clearer sense of their career direction.
