On 27 November<\/strong>, the faculty members of the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship of Sumy State University \u2013 Olena Kryklii<\/strong>, Yevheniia Mordan<\/strong>, Liudmyla Pavlenko<\/strong>, and Olena Pakhnenko<\/strong> \u2013 took part in a specialized online seminar organized by the National Bank of Ukraine<\/strong> for university lecturers.
The seminar focused on key issues related to the development of Ukraine\u2019s financial sector, regulatory changes, and macro-financial stability. During the event, experts from the NBU<\/strong> presented several analytical reports, including:
\u2022 The state of Ukraine\u2019s financial sector and major development trends \u2013 an overview of the dynamics of the banking system, emerging risks, and factors shaping financial resilience.
\u2022 Updated requirements for credit risk coverage and the introduction of the leverage ratio \u2013 presentation of new regulatory approaches to assessing risk-weighted assets and bank capital.
\u2022 Capital buffers and macroprudential policy instruments \u2013 the role of countercyclical and structural buffers in strengthening the stability of the financial sector.
\u2022 Bank stress testing in 2025 \u2013 results of stress-resilience assessments and analysis of the quality of banks\u2019 credit portfolios.
\u2022 Development of mortgage lending and current trends in the mortgage market \u2013 evaluation of prospects, challenges, and opportunities for expanding the mortgage segment.
The participation of the department\u2019s academic staff contributed to strengthening their professional expertise in banking regulation, risk management, and financial stability. The materials and analytical approaches obtained during the seminar will be integrated into the educational process, particularly into courses related to banking management, analysis of banking operations, banking supervision, and bank risk management.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
