On December 17, 2024<\/strong>, the first defenses of master’s qualification theses of group F.m-31 of the “Finance” educational program, specialty 072 “Finance, Banking, Insurance, and Stock Market,” took place at the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship.
The students demonstrated a high level of preparation, a deep analytical approach, and a focus on solving current problems in the financial, banking, and insurance sectors. This was confirmed by the quality of the presented theses, their defenses, and well-structured responses to the questions posed.
The master’s research addressed pressing issues of financial security, bank management, and insurance within the context of modern economic challenges and dynamic digital transformations.
The Examination Committee, consisting of Oleksii Riabenkov, Deputy General Director for Information Technologies of Askania Group LLC; Liudmyla Zakharkina, Ph.D. in Economics and Associate Professor, Program Director of Finance; Oleksii Zakharkin, Doctor of Economics and Associate Professor; and Nadiia Dekhtiar, Ph.D. in Economics and Associate Professor<\/strong>, highlighted the high level of qualification theses, highly appreciated the students’ preparation, and acknowledged the relevance of their work.
Particular attention was given to: the comprehensive research by Liliia Derkach<\/strong> and Denys Kasian<\/strong> on “Managing Financial Security of Enterprises in the Context of Digital Transformation”<\/strong>, the work of Yelena Horobets<\/strong> on “Modern Trends in the Development of Motor Transport Insurance in Ukraine”<\/strong>, the thesis by Tetiana Davydenko<\/strong> on “Bank Liquidity Management”.<\/strong>
It is also worth noting that some students, namely Liliia Derkach<\/strong> and Denys Kasian<\/strong>, defended their qualification theses in English.
