On 29 November 2024<\/strong>, an online seminar on \u00abFINANCIAL MONITORING IN THE BANKING SECTOR\u00bb<\/strong> was held, which was attended by students of the study programmes \u00abFinance\u00bb and \u00abBanking\u00bb, \u00abState and Local Finance\u00bb, speciality 072 \u00abFinance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market\u00bb of the bachelor`s and master`s degree, who joined the practice-oriented event within the disciplines \u00abBanking Supervision\u00bb and \u00abState Financial Monitoring and Control\u00bb.<\/p>

The guest speaker was: Taras ZARIVNIAK<\/strong> – Deputy Director of the Department – Head of the Department for Prevention of Money Laundering and Compliance with Sanctions Legislation of Raiffeisen Bank JSC.<\/p>

During the webinar, the participants not only learnt about the mechanism and specifics of financial monitoring of legal entities and individuals (bank customers), but also received information on the necessary competencies to work in the bank in the area of money laundering prevention.<\/p>

The meeting was moderated by lecturer Tetiana KUBAKH<\/strong>.<\/p>
