On May 17, 2023, as part of the “Corporate Finance” course, a practical-oriented session on the topic “Features of Financial Management in IT Companies” took place. The guest lecture was delivered by a practitioner, Mr. Yevhen Nikitchenko, a business analyst and software developer LUXOFT, A DXC TECHNOLOGY COMPANY. The session focused on discussing aspects of the IT business, the functioning of product-based and service-based companies, stages of IT company development, and specificities of their financial activities, including capital, assets, revenues, and expenditures formation. As a graduate of Sumy State University, Yevhen also shared his personal experience in employment and career growth with the students. The meeting was moderated by Larysa Hrytsenko, the Head of the FTE Department, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor.
