On April 7, 2021<\/strong>, first-year undergraduate students majoring in 072 “Finance, Banking and Insurance” within the study of the discipline “Public Finance” listened to an interactive lecture on “Social extra-budgetary funds.”<\/p>

During the lecture “Compulsory Social Insurance Fund for Unemployment, Its Purpose, Sources and Directions of Use of Funds”<\/strong> an online meeting of higher education students with a leading career guidance specialist of the Sumy Regional Employment Center Luta Natalia Oleksandrivna<\/strong> took place.<\/p>

Ms. Natalia acquainted students with the mission, tasks, activities and structure of the State Employment Service in Sumy region. Particular attention was paid to the issues of registration and acquisition of the status of the unemployed, the peculiarities of material support of the unemployed, namely: receiving unemployment benefits for certain categories of insured and uninsured persons and receiving one-time assistance for business. The information on the provision of a range of social services was quite interesting, in particular: services related to vocational training or retraining or advanced training of the unemployed, vocational guidance, employment assistance, information and counseling services. At the end of the meeting, students received reliable and useful statistical information about the results of the regional directorate of the State Employment Service.<\/p>

The meeting was moderated by teachers of the discipline Olga Luta and Nadiya Dekhtyar<\/strong>.<\/p>
