18.03.2016<\/strong> in the scientific library of UAB the meeting of students and pupils was held in the frames of the project \u201cYouth debates\u201d (\u00abJugend debattiert\u00bb)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Regular debates on the topic \u201cEuropean values in Ukraine\u201d in the frames of the project of the Banking department and Foreign Languages department \u201cYouth debates\u201d were successful not only among students of Academy. This time in the debates took part pupils and teachers of Oleksandrivska gymnasium, Sumy gymnasium \u21161, Sumy specialized school \u211610, and students of Sumy State University, of Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the meeting the coordinators of the project Ass. Professor of the Banking department Sysoeva L.Yu.<\/strong> and Ass. Professor of Foreign languages department Otroshchenko L.S.<\/strong> addressed pupils and students and introduced with pleasure the lecturer of the German service of Academic Exchange (DAAD) Carsten Grunwaldt, who proposed the new concept of the event organization.<\/p>\n

Firstly the lecturer of DAAD introduced an interesting presentation as for Europeans vision of values of united Europe. Then the participants formed mini-groups and got situational tasks, in which they had to determine whether the rights and duties of a citizen are broken according to the European life standards.<\/p>\n

The most interesting part of the event was real debates between the participants, which showed not only high level of language competence, but also modern views and wide scope of pupils and students of Sumy. Academy team was introduced by Dyachenko Valeriya<\/strong> (IE-41), Verbitskiy Andriy<\/strong> (B-43) and Klimov Sergiy<\/strong> (EC-32).<\/p>\n

At the end of debates the teams got certificates, which were prepared by Ass. Professors of UAB and the lecturer of DAAD.<\/p>\n

The subject of the next debates will be also devoted to the Euro integration topic.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
